The Linkchild Association is a Swiss Association located in Geneva based on the Swiss Law art. 60-79 from the Swiss Civil Code. The activities of the Association are dedicated to the underprivileged people specially the children and the mothers suffering from illnesses and poverty in countries of war or economic difficulties.
Linkchild Association is the sister of the French Association Link created also by Nagatt Al Zuheiri of Yemeni origins who studied in Europe, Link was created in 2001 during her studies trip to Yemen for university researches. After her researches, she decided to dedicated all her network and knowledge she has for the benefice of underprivileged people specially mothers and children who suffered from various illnesses in public hospitals and she started with Yemen.
Linkchild Association is composed of an accountant, a secretary general, a chairman, and a Vice President. All the accounts are followed by a fiduciary based in Geneva each members of the board of directors is able to follow the accounts. Linkchild Association sets up Charity Dinners in order to develop her projects. The first was held in 2007: Each sponsors is invited to take in charge all the expenses of the organization of this event in order that all the amount of the entrances and auction during this night goes directly to Linkchild's projects.
Thanks to an important networking, Linkchild targets its goals with the feeling of helping directly the population in needs with the support of local NGO’s.
Linkchild already sent essential medecines ordered by Dr Guy-André Leouille French pedatrician and consultant for Linkchild and financed the salary of the nurse in charge of the 2nd home club we opened on september 2009 in As Sabeen Hospital in Sanaa, Yemen, this thanks to the first charity night we organized in 2007 .
Linkchild now focuses on 5 projects 2 in Yemen and in the West Bank and an other programme named “Make a Boy a Man”. Each project is monitored by a chief of project who gives reports monthly. Those projects are:
Dar Rahma based in Sanaa who welcomed orpheans coming from all over Yemen.
Clinic of The association of blood diseases in Sanaa, Yemen.
Hagar Center in the West Bank which provides adapted solutions for disabled in order that they continue to have a normal life..
“Make a Boy a Man” is one of our programme to support he young generation who suffered from poverty to get diploma and a job and participate to the social life of their country.
